My oldest daughter, Shanley, graduated from high school in May and these were the invitations to her Family Graduation Party. |
Some sprucing up for the backyard since the party was mainly outdoors. |
Hmmmm...who is that stringing lights in the trees? |
As you can see, the theme revolved around birds and flying away from the nest... |
We found the bird's nests and small bird houses from Hobby Lobby. |
Some stamped cards for the centerpiece displays. |
I've had that stamp since the girls were small, I couldn't resist using it for them one more time. |
The sky is the limit! |
Porcelain blue and chocolate brown were the colors so this window got a fresh coat of paint! |
We rented the tables and chairs (very inexpensive) and found the tablecloths on line for $8.00 each. I couldn't buy the fabric and sew them myself for that! |
So pretty at night... |
My girls... Shanley on the right, Delaney on the left. |
I love the pics. Youryard looked great! I love the night pictures.
ReplyDeleteAwww, you did a GREAT job with that little project; it was a lovely party mom! ..notice how I threw in that semicolon so you can be convinced that I'm down here for good reason..
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lana!
ReplyDeleteSlanley, I'm always proud of the baby...
That was so much fun and everything was so beautiful! I love that all of us girls sat out there that night under all of the pretty lights & talked & talked & talked & talked..."if you don't have anything nice to say, come sit by me"...love you!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you shared all your great ideas for Shanley's party. We had such a good time and everything was perfect. Jennifer is right - sitting outside at night with all the pretty lights and just being together - such a good memory.
ReplyDeleteProud of you, and Greg and Shanley and Delaney!
Wow, that’s great. I loved having a look at these beautiful pictures. I enjoy rain a lot and this is why my birthday bash in last weekend had the rain theme. Hosted a grand party at my favorite event space Chicago and it turned out to be very enjoyable. My cousin helped me with all the preparations.
